ABC’s Of American Rhythm Dancing

This course begins August 10^th, 2008.  This Rhythm course is in the format of Cha-Cha.

Description:

6 major actions of the 11 actions will be covered for each movement.  Open and Closed Cha-Cha choreography is the base structure for the tech and musicality.

Goals:

Become clearly rhythmical

Lead and follow properly

Become advanced balance and posture

Requirements:

Must be a student of more than 60 hours of private instruction

Resources:

World Champion coaches, I.S.T.D. International Standard of teachers of Dance, DVIDA American Style Rhythm, Dance To Your Maximum, Light on Yoga, The Key Muscles of Athletic awareness, US Finalist teacher, musicality, kinesiology.

Evaluation:

Come to Class and do your work.  It is fun and it is informative and easy.

Course Schedule:

Each of the 6 classes come with an exercise and a large amount of technical instruction coupled with social fun and a great atmosphere.

Spins and Turns

Text:

This course will focus in the format of Foxtrot and Rumba and will commence on August 10, 2008.

Description:

This is a clear course on exceeding turning technique with use of the 6 majors actions that create turn, as is clearly stated in the instructors current 2008 guide to competitive dancing from his coaches.

Goals:

To see a clear foundation of posture and balance

To turn with the appropriate effort

To master a turn

Requirements:

Come to class and do your work.

Resources:

Sonny Perry, Nick Kosovich, Katie Johnson, competitive actions

 Course Schedule:  Rumba and Foxtrot exercises will be commenced to the specificity of each beat of music.
